Calorie Shifting an Easier Way to Lose !

What is calorie shifting? It is a new concept in dieting that is helping many people with their weigh loss goals without starving them. It is a method of fooling your body's metabolism into shifting into high gear and keeping it fooled. This causes it to burn the calories you take in as well as some of your stored fat calories. I used a modified variety of this diet and lost over 20 pounds and have managed to keep it off for over two years now. I did not starve myself nor did I spend a lot of time exercising.

You have seen people doing the low fat diet for years with no major results. It apparently is not the cure. Millions of dollars are spent annually on low fat food at the grocery and at restaurants but we just don't seem to be improving as a society. This low fat diet just does not seem to be the answer. It seems to be a quick weight loss method that when you quit you regain the weight because your body still craves the intake of food.

Starvation diets....low calorie and low carb....... these diets are another form of starvation and is harmful to your body and you regain the weight and usually more following your stopping the diet. The weight gain is due to your body's metabolism adjusting to the starvation diet and decreasing itself to protect your body. Then you go off the diet and wham you gain the pounds again.

So you say what is calorie shifting? You eat different types of calories at different times of the day. You make a diet change as to the types of calories (protein, fat, carbs, etc) everyday. You do not starve yourself nor do you kill yourself with lots of exercise programs (tho I still think exercise is a must for a healthy body). In making these daily changes in the types and amounts of food your body does not get into a set rate of metabolism. It keeps changing thus it keeps burning the extra calories on the days you decrease or change your intake. Then you go back to eating a normal diet for a day or two to get your metabolism fired up again.
